Contractor cooperation terms — Handyman24

The Polish-language version is binding; this translation is informational.

These terms govern cooperation between the Operator and Masters (Contractors). They supplement the Terms of Service.

1. Independent status

The Contractor provides services in their own name and on their own account as an independent party. The cooperation is not an employment relationship — there is no subordination, fixed working time, or obligation to work. The Operator is not the Contractor’s employer and does not direct how services are performed.

2. Self-set pricing

The Contractor sets their own prices by submitting Offers (bidding). The Operator does not impose prices or rates.

3. Freedom to choose orders and time

The Contractor independently decides which Orders to accept, when and how to perform them. There is no duty to accept Orders or remain available, and no exclusivity — the Contractor may use other platforms.

4. Tools and organisation

The Contractor provides their own tools, materials and work organisation and is responsible for the quality and conformity of the service towards the Client.

5. Commission

The Operator charges a Commission for intermediation, disclosed before the transaction.

6. Algorithmic transparency (ranking)

The Operator discloses the main parameters determining the order in which Masters are presented — see “Transparency & ranking”. Paid promotion is labelled.

7. Account decisions — human involvement

Decisions to suspend, restrict or block a Contractor’s account involve a human, are reasoned, and may be appealed via the point of contact (kontakt@handyman24.eu). Automated temporary restrictions are reviewed on request.

8. Taxes and public-law duties

The Contractor is solely responsible for their own tax settlements and any registration/contribution duties arising from their activity.

9. Final provisions

Matters not regulated here are governed by the Terms of Service and Polish law. The Polish version prevails.
