Privacy Policy of Handyman24
This Policy describes how personal data of Handyman24 Users is processed under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
The Polish-language version is binding; this translation is informational.
1. Data controller
The controller is Oleksandr Chumakov, ul. Zbigniewa Herberta 37 lok. 2, 05-120 Legionowo, NIP 5361994183, e-mail: kontakt@handyman24.eu. For data matters, contact kontakt@handyman24.eu.
2. Scope and purposes
Account data (name, e-mail, phone, hashed password, role, locale) to operate the Account; Master profile data (city, bio, professions, experience, business/private status, payment id); Order data (orders, offers, photos, work-time logs, ratings/reviews); payment data (via Stripe — full card data not stored); communications and notification logs (security and operations); marketing only with separate, voluntary consent.
3. Legal bases
Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)), consent (Art. 6(1)(a) — marketing, some cookies), legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) — accounting, complaints), legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) — security, claims, abuse prevention).
4. Recipients
Processors acting for the controller: payment provider (Stripe), hosting/cloud, e-mail provider, file storage. Data necessary to fulfil an Order is shared with the other party to the transaction.
5. Transfers outside the EEA
Where data is transferred outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards apply (standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision).
6. Retention
Data is kept for the term of the contract and afterwards for the limitation period and as required by law (e.g. accounting records — generally 5 years). Master trader-traceability data (DSA) is kept for 6 months after the end of cooperation. After these periods data is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent at any time. Several rights can be exercised directly in the Account panel (data export, account deletion).
8. Complaint to the supervisory authority
You may lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.
9. Voluntary nature
Providing data is voluntary but necessary to use the service. Declining marketing data does not affect access to the Platform.
10. Cookies and automated decisions
Cookies are described in the Cookie Policy. The controller does not take decisions based solely on automated processing producing legal effects; account-suspension decisions involve a human.
11. Changes
The Policy may be updated; Users are informed of material changes.
